We inspect all External & Internal areas of the property including fences and trees and on completion we supply a fully written Pest Inspection report with recommendations. We can provide all types of pest treatments:
Over the past 25 years we’ve conducted countless infrared imaging inspections across Australia and Asia. As one of the leading pest control companies, our cutting edge technology is so sophisticated our people need a high-end thermal imaging camera licence just to use it! Time and again our high-end thermal imaging cameras – TermiCams – have proven more successful, more reliable and more environmentally friendly than using chemicals, or any other termite detection system. Our amazing technology can detect termites through almost anything – from concrete to the thickest tree stumps, to pesky termites living in moist, hard-to reach areas.
Our infrared cameras detect heat. In other words life — termite life. Infrared is an invisible portion of the light spectrum extending from 0.75 to 1 000 microns. Living objects emit warmth. The warmer the life, the brighter it appears on our thermal imager. White is hotter, black is colder. As you can from the images below, the darker colour marks on the timber decking of a boat could easily be mistaken for normal weathering. But on the right, the TermiCam thermal imaging camera picked up dots representing heat, the heat of well-fed termites.
Tapping, drilling holes and pulling walls apart: A messy business that also disturbs termites, making them go to ground only to pop-up somewhere else. And, let’s be frank, it’s an ‘old fashioned’ solution compared to TermiCam’s cutting-edge infrared thermal imaging technology.
Cheap thermal cameras: Three words — intrusive, destructive and unreliable. As they say, you get what you pay for.
Trained dogs: Time and again, trained dogs have proven to be unreliable.
Moisture meters: Termites love moist, humid places like the kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Therefore, moisture meters often miss termite activity because they can’t distinguish between the existing moisture and the termite infestation. Do you want to take that risk?
Microwave systems: These showed a lot of promise early on… Unfortunately though, termites can sense microwave systems and will either scatter or stop moving. In addition, microwave systems aren’t effective in wet areas and can’t detect termites under concrete slabs or through thick tree stumps. But TermiCam’s cutting-edge infrared thermal imaging technology can.
